The Western Australia Chinese Chamber of Commerce (WACCC) was honoured to host a successful networking reception on 23 April to welcome a distinguished 25-member delegation from the Belt Conveyor Branch of the China Heavy Machinery Industry Association.
Led by Chairman Li Ping and Vice Chairman Li Jidong, the delegation visited Perth to explore potential collaborations and business opportunities in the belt conveyor and broader heavy machinery sectors. The event brought together nearly 50 attendees, including WACCC members, industry stakeholders, and local business leaders.
A highlight of the evening was an insightful presentation by WACCC Vice President Cheong Chew, who introduced the local mining industry and emphasized the critical role of belt conveyors in its operations. His remarks set the tone for a productive evening of knowledge exchange and connection-building.
