Final Civic Workshop Strengthens Chinese Community Understanding of Australia’s Civic System and Media Literacy

Final Civic Workshop Strengthens Chinese Community Understanding of Australia’s Civic System and Media Literacy

The 5th and final Civic Workshop in Western Australia have officially wrapped up. This session was proudly presented by the Western Australia Chinese Chamber of Commerce (WACCC) in collaboration with Cultural Care WA. We extend our sincere thanks to the Chinese Australian Forum and the National Foundation for Australia-China Relations for the opportunity to be part of the enhancing understanding and empowering the Chinese community initiative. This workshop has undoubtedly deepened participants’ understanding of Australia’s civic system and media literacy. A special thank you to Jon-Claire Lee, Secretary of the Chinese Australian Forum, for travelling to Perth to attend and support the event; and to Ms Elvie Yap, President of Cultural Care WA, for her valuable contribution as a speaker throughout the workshop series.
