Wednesday Networking with Walter Gomes
Wednesday Networking is a platform for members and non-members to meet different people, be exposed to new ideas and thoughts, develop new relationships and foster existing contacts.
What’s next for NBN?
The NBN has transformed our nation’s digital experience to the point where it has become the accepted norm. Most of us now struggle to remember what life was like before the NBN. The corporate entity NBN Co was established in 2009 to design, build and operate Australia’s wholesale broadband access network. It’s key objective is to lift the digital capability of Australia.
Our speaker Walter Gomes is Stakeholder Engagement Manager WA at NBN Co. Prior to joining NBN, Walter was Manager, Asian Engagement at the WA State Government, and was instrumental in developing WA’s Asian Engagement strategy. He worked closely with all the State’s Asian business councils. Walter is a WA Committee member at the Australia India Business Council.
Walter will talk about developments at NBN Co, and how they can support your business growth through its $700M Business Fibre Initiative and $4.5B Network Investment Plan
