Wednesday Networking with Viktor Ko
Wednesday Networking is a platform for members and non-members to meet different people, be exposed to new ideas and thoughts, develop new relationships and foster existing contacts.
From Medicine to Governance
Cr. Dr. Viktor Ko is one of eight councillors serving on the City of Perth council. He was elected on Oct 2021 for a four year term.
Viktor moved from Sydney to Western Australia to pursue a medical career. He is a graduate at the Rural Clinical School of WA, held a John Flynn Scholarship and held the Medical Portfolio for the National Rural Health Student Network. Professionally, he was the surgical registrar in Kalgoorlie Regional Hospital and Royal Perth Hospital. He currently works in General Practice, providing healthcare to low income/homeless individuals through a non-for-profit organisation, Homeless Healthcare.
Come to hear Viktor talk about his journey from medicine to the governance of local government.
