THE RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR BRAIN; MAKING THE RIGHT CONNECTIONS
Professor Ralph Martins AO is an acclaimed and leading researcher on Alzheimer’s Disease. He holds a joint academic appointment of Professor of Neurobiology at Macquarie University in Sydney and Foundation Professor of Ageing and Alzheimer’s Disease at Edith Cowan University in Perth.
He holds numerous distinctions. Since 2014 he was appointed to the Board of Directors of the International Federation of Ageing (IFA) based in Canada, a prominent non-governmental organization that works closely with the United Nations and the World Health Organization.
RM was part of the team that discovered the amyloid precursor protein (APP) acknowledged to be fundamental in the molecular pathology of AD. Also in the past 5 years, RM has received over $30M in funding, to allow him and his team to continue the ground-breaking work with AD.
At this 2023 launch, RM will touch on the latest research with AD and how relationships at many levels have been key to his research with AD and encourage you to make the right connections for your brain health.
