WACCC COMMITTEES AND SUB-COMMITTEES
WACCC Committees play an important role in advancing the Chamber’s mission by bringing together members with shared interests, expertise, and a commitment to contributing to Western Australia’s business and community landscape. Through our committees, WACCC creates structured platforms for members to connect, collaborate, and lead initiatives that strengthen professional networks, support cross-cultural engagement, and respond to the evolving needs of our business community.
By mobilising the knowledge, experience, and leadership of our members, WACCC committees help shape meaningful programs, events, and industry conversations that create value beyond individual organisations. From long-standing traditions such as the Golf Committee, to the next generation of leaders through the Youth Committee, and forthcoming Women’s and Industry Committees (including Energy & Resources and Property & Infrastructure Sub-Committees), our committees reflect WACCC’s commitment to inclusive participation, industry relevance, and positive impact across Western Australia’s economy and society. Members are encouraged to get involved, share their expertise, and help shape initiatives that strengthen our industries and community.

The WACCC Golf Committee is a long-standing group of business leaders who have guided one of the Chamber’s most enduring traditions for more than 30 years. The Committee fosters camaraderie and professional connection, bringing together leaders who share a passion for both golf and business.
At the heart of the Committee’s work is the annual WACCC Golf Classic, a signature event that combines friendly competition with networking. The tournament is widely enjoyed by the business community and supported by loyal sponsors, helping the Committee strengthen cross-cultural business relationships, nurture professional networks, and uphold a tradition that blends sport, community, and commerce.
