Wayne Teo is a Perth-based businessman and director of his family office, Tajuria Holdings, with a career spanning retail, fashion, hospitality, and private investment. He began his business journey developing, building, and managing significant commercial property projects across Perth, including The Colonnade Shopping Centre in Subiaco and the Mt Hawthorn Shopping Centre.

With a long-standing commitment to advancing Western Australia’s creative and hospitality industries, Wayne advocated for increased government support for the local fashion sector. This contribution led to his appointment to the WA Fashion Industry Taskforce and the Fashion Peer Panel. In 2004, he helped establish the Designer Fashion Grants Programme with the WA Department of Culture and the Arts an initiative created to nurture, elevate, and fund emerging WA fashion talent.

Wayne has also held various leadership roles within the hospitality community. As President of La Chaîne des Rôtisseurs WA (2012–2016), he focused on mentoring young chefs and sommeliers, and led both local and international culinary competitions. In recognition of his service, he was awarded the Bronze Service Medal and the rank of Commander.

Today, Wayne continues his commitment to industry wellbeing as Chairperson and Co-Founder of Healthy Mind Menu, a not-for-profit supporting mental health across Western Australia’s hospitality sector.
