Ezekiel Sim joined the Western Australia Chinese Chamber of Commerce (WACCC) in 2022 and completed his term as a Council Member in November 2024. In April 2025, he was invited to return to the Chamber and was appointed as Honorary Treasurer, rejoining the Council and leading the Chamber’s sponsorship portfolio. Ezekiel also serves as the Engagement Executive for the Australia and New Zealand Chinese Accountants Association (ANZCAA).

 

He has contributed extensively to the not-for-profit sector, including his tenure on the board and as Chairperson at The Quintilian School, where he navigated the organisation through the challenges of COVID-related issues and a transition of school leadership. He also served as an advisor to another reggio-inspired early learning provider, supporting its development from a start-up into a multi-centre organisation.

 

In the commercial sector, Ezekiel is the Managing Director of Elixir Advisory and the founder of Ezekiel Finance. His experience spans leadership, accounting, corporate finance, business development, and relationship management – shaped through founding, scaling, and successfully exiting several businesses.

 

Earlier in his career, Ezekiel held roles with KPMG and EY, followed by senior banking positions at ANZ, Westpac (St. George), and NAB, giving him a broad and practical understanding of the finance, risk, and accounting landscape.

 

He has worked across Australia, Singapore, and Malaysia in senior leadership capacities – including Group Chief Financial Officer and Regional Manager (General Management) where he led teams through financial transformation, operational restructuring, and regional expansion initiatives.

 

Through his consulting and advisory work, Ezekiel supports organisations in building sustainable, high-performance operations grounded in strong financial management and strategic clarity.

 

Ezekiel is a Fellow of FINSIA and a member of CPA Australia, the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA), and the Real Estate Institute of Western Australia (REIWA). He holds a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting and Finance with a minor in Strategic Management.

 

He is driven by a commitment to helping organisations and individuals make confident, well-informed financial decisions and remains dedicated to strengthening community engagement, good governance, and ethical leadership across the boards and associations he serves.
