You are cordially invited to attend the Civics & Media Literacy for Chinese Australians jointly organized by the Western Australia Chinese Chamber of Commerce (WACCC)​ and Culture Care WA​, co-hosted by the Chinese Australian Forum​ and sponsored by the National Foundation for Australia-China Relations​.

Enhancing Understanding & Empowering the Chinese Community!

This workshop aims to deepen your understanding of Australia’s civic system and media literacy. The session will be conducted in Mandarin with Chinese-language materials provided.

Event Highlights

✅ In-depth insights into the functions and roles of Australia’s three levels of government

✅ Understanding the differences in rights and responsibilities between citizens and non-citizens

✅ Analysis of the current status and development of the Chinese community in WA

✅ Fact-checking skills to enhance media literacy and identify misinformation
