Sliding in to the Year of the Snake with A Ritzy Celebration
With great anticipation in the lead up to the WACCC 2025 Chinese New Year Ball, 320 guests shone in their finest new year attire, enjoying an evening of Ritz-Carlton ambience and WACCC hospitality at the Elizabeth Quay ballroom on Saturday 8th February. The sold-out event attracted members, guests, VIPs, long-time friends, sponsors and visitors, local, national and international.
With great anticipation in the lead up to the WACCC 2025 Chinese New Year Ball, 320 guests shone in their finest new year attire, enjoying an evening of Ritz-Carlton ambience and WACCC hospitality at the Elizabeth Quay ballroom on Saturday 8th February. The sold-out event attracted members, guests, VIPs, long-time friends, sponsors and visitors, local, national and international.
Guests enjoyed a fine menu curated by the Ritz-Carlton culinary team, matched with a bespoke YuSheng ‘Prosperity Salad’ to symbolise an upcoming year of abundance. Special guest stand-up comedian and entertainer, Dr Jason Leong, hailing from Malaysia, provided many laughs and guffaws to the audience with his unique style of humour.
The festive atmosphere was further heightened with a traditional lion dance, a cultural performance featuring a duo of musicians playing traditional Chinese instruments and those born in the Year of the Snake received the gift of good luck in a special ‘ang pow’ red packet. Guests also enjoyed the opportunity to acquire some new additions via the live and silent auctions, and a raffle brought even more luck to winners.
As the band played, some were delighted to dance the night away whilst others chose to heartily connect, re-connect and network with friends, colleagues and business associates.
