WELCOMING EZHOU DELEGATION TO PERTH

WELCOMING EZHOU DELEGATION TO PERTH

We were honored to welcome a distinguished Mayoral Business Delegation from Ezhou, China. This visit presented an exciting opportunity to explore business collaborations and strengthen our international ties.

Ezhou has recently achieved significant advancements in the international airfreight industry with the construction of a professional cargo-focused airport and free-trade aviation hub. This facility is the fourth of its kind globally and the first in Asia, positioning Ezhou as a pivotal hub in global logistics.

The delegation included high-level representatives from the Ezhou government, Huahu Airport authorities, potential business partners, and S.F. Express Co. Ltd., the world’s fourth-largest logistics service provider.

During their visit, the delegation engaged in fruitful meetings with the Dr Jags Krishnan, Parliamentary Secretary to the Premier; Minister for State and Industry Development, Jobs and Trade; Mayor of Bunbury, Jaysen Miguel; as well as representatives from the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Innovation & Science, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Western Australia (CCIWA), Perth Airport, and Sadleirs, a leading logistics and freight transport company in Australia.

The delegation also toured V&V Walsh Meat Processors & Exporters, Bunbury Farmers Market and Geraldton Fishermen’s Co-Operative, gaining valuable insights into their operations and exploring potential areas for collaboration.

The WA Chinese Chamber of Commerce hosted a welcome dinner for the Ezhou delegation, which included a brief workshop to educate local stakeholders about Ezhou’s remarkable professional cargo-focused airport and international free trade hub.
