The Western Australia Chinese Chamber of Commerce (WACCC) has the pleasure to invite you to a special event to meet Ms Kit Yau, Head of Australia and New Zealand Marketing for Alibaba Group.
Alibaba is one of the largest e-commerce company in the world, and one of the largest listed Chinese technology company. It’s core business is to provide an ecosystem of advanced e-commerce platforms for the China market. Through its Singaporean subsidiary Lazada, the company is operating in South East Asian countries including Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
In Australia, Alibaba offers Australian groups an effective means to tap the lucrative Chinese market through its various e-commerce platforms including Taobao, Aliexpress and TMall.
As the Head of Marketing for Alibaba Group in Australia and New Zealand, Kit is responsible for developing and executing marketing initiatives aimed at helping local businesses take advantage of the solutions and opportunities available within the Alibaba ecosystem, from global marketplaces to cloud technology.
