Renewing Ties of Friendship

A 10-member delegation from Zhejiang paid a courtesy call on the Chamber in November to update themselves on developments in Western Australia.

Led by Mr Chen Yizheng, Vice President, Zhejiang Federation of Industry and Commerce, the delegation comprised representatives from the major industries based in Hangzhou.

It was a meeting of old friends and the WACCC Council as well as members from the Chamber were present to welcome the delegation.

A special programme was arranged. Memebers of the delegation were treated to a tour of Mandurah to view the residential developments in the area. Members were also present at the launch of the Art Exhibition organised as part of the 20th anniversary celebrations. The highlight of the delegation's programme was their attendance at the Chamber's 20th anniversary Ball.
