Achieving effective business negotiations in China today requires knowledge and importantly a new mind-set.

This is necessary because the phenomenal pace of business development in China over the past 10 years has given rise to new business structures and business cultures that need to be understood within a Chinese context. This is a prerequisite to achieving the most successful results in business negotiations.

Professor Andrew Wang is the Professor of Economics at Zhejiang Gongshang University. He will share his insights into the basis of successful business negotiations with the Chinese. With his experience as Secretary General of IAUP Northeast Asia Council; Foreign Assistant to the President and Vice Director of the International Affairs Office in China; expressing his in-depth knowledge on international trade, foreign direct investment and e-busienss in international circuits; his familiarity with family run companies and corporations in the new China – he is indeed well placed to provide competent guidance on achieving the best possible results in negotiations with Chinese counterparts.
